Who Is Eligible for Thailand Privilege?
Thailand Privilege does not have the age, income or investment requirements associated with several other long stay visa categories. Applicants must still meet the programme’s eligibility and immigration requirements.
Foreign Passport
Applicants must hold a foreign passport and meet the relevant immigration requirements for entry and stay in Thailand.
No Relevant Criminal Record
Applicants must not have a relevant imprisonment record under the programme’s eligibility conditions, subject to the stated exceptions for negligence offences.
No Bankruptcy
Applicants must not have been adjudicated bankrupt under the programme’s membership qualifications.
All Ages Are Eligible
Thailand Privilege does not impose a minimum age requirement. Applicants of all ages may qualify, subject to the other membership conditions.
Eligibility is assessed under the applicable Thailand Privilege membership terms and Thailand’s immigration requirements. Individual circumstances may affect eligibility.

Is there a minimum age requirement?
No. Thailand Privilege does not impose a minimum age requirement. Applicants of different ages may qualify subject to the programme’s eligibility conditions.
How long can I stay in Thailand?
Membership validity ranges from 5 to 20 years depending on the membership level. Bronze and Gold provide 5 years, Platinum provides 10 years, Diamond provides 15 years and Reserve provides 20 years.
Do I need to meet a minimum income or investment requirement?
Thailand Privilege membership does not have the income or investment requirements associated with several other long stay visa categories. Applicants must still meet the programme’s eligibility and background verification requirements.
Can I add my family members?
Platinum, Diamond and Reserve members may add eligible family members through supplementary membership. Eligible family members include spouses, children and parents, subject to the applicable membership terms.
Can I work or study in Thailand with Thailand Privilege?
No. Thailand Privilege membership provides long term stay privileges and does not permit members to work or study in Thailand under this membership.
