It is commonly required for official procedures such as applying for a Thai driving license, vehicle registration, opening a bank account, or registering a mobile phone number. Applicants must provide clear proof of residence and hold a valid visa. The document is issued by the Immigration Bureau.

Processing Time

  • Application Time:
    Can be applied for whenever needed; no specific period required.

  • Validity Period:
    Generally valid for 30 days. After expiration, a new application is required.

  • Processing Duration:
    Immigration Bureau usually takes around 5–11 working days, depending on workload. Delays may occur if documents are incomplete.

  • Photocopy of TM6 arrival/departure card (if applicable)

  • Valid visa and 90-day report record (if applicable)

  • Proof of residence (TM30)
