  • The DTV visa allows remote work for non-Thai employers while residing in Thailand. Direct employment with a Thai company is not permitted; in such cases, a work visa is required.

  • Maximum stay is 180 days, with a one-time extension possible, for a total of no more than 1 year.

  • This is a multiple-entry visa, allowing free travel in and out of Thailand, provided the total stay does not exceed the permitted duration.

  • The visa cannot be converted into another visa type inside Thailand. To extend or switch to another visa (e.g., Work Visa), applicants must leave Thailand and reapply.

  • To expedite processing, all financial and professional documents should be complete, detailed, and provided in English.

  • Spouses and children of DTV holders may apply for dependent visas, provided proof of family relationship is submitted.

  • It is recommended to submit the application at least 30 days in advance to allow sufficient time for approval.
