Working Visa
The Thai Business Visa (Working Visa) is intended for foreigners who wish to engage in business activities, employment, or participate in business meetings in Thailand. This type of visa is usually sponsored by a Thai company or organization and can be issued for single or multiple entries. Upon arrival in Thailand, holders are required to apply for a Work Permit. This visa is one of the fundamental requirements for legal employment and long-term stay in Thailand.

Employment confirmation letter / invitation letter from employer (on company letterhead with authorized signature)

Employment contract or job description
For attending meetings/seminars: invitation letter and event agenda required
If previously employed in Thailand: copies of past visa(s) and work permit(s) must be provided
📌 Important Notes for Applicants
The Business Visa is only applicable for employment, meetings, investment, or business-related activities. It must not be used for unrelated jobs or illegal work.
After entering Thailand, if you intend to work officially, you must apply for a Work Permit. Working without a valid Work Permit is considered illegal.
A Business Visa can be extended within Thailand, but extensions must comply with the validity of the Work Permit and Immigration Bureau regulations.
When leaving and re-entering Thailand, please confirm whether a Re-entry Permit is required to prevent visa invalidation.
All submitted documents must be in English or Thai. If issued in another language, notarization and certified translation may be required.
